The Espacio UNIA at the Seville Book Fair, FELISE 2026, offers around twenty activities between October 28 and November 8 in the Jardines de Murillo.
The Seville Book Fair, FELISE 2026, opens its doors on Wednesday, October 28, in the Jardines de Murillo. Until Sunday, November 8, the UNIA Space of the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía will host around twenty activities for all audiences, according to the university itself.
Workshops, round tables and presentations
The programme combines children's workshops, book presentations and gatherings on current affairs. Activities will be concentrated on weekday afternoons, while on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays they will be spread throughout the day.
On Friday, October 30, from 19:00, «Despliegues» will be presented, a publication that brings together projects, methodologies, images and references arising from the encounter between artistic, scientific and territorial practices in Andalucía, within the Grupo de Trabajo de Agitación Científica. The programme is promoted by the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía together with Tekeando, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, with the support of the Fundación Daniel y Nina Carasso.
On Sunday, November 1, at 12:00, the round table «Leyendas sevillanas» will tour the city through its legends and historical curiosities, with the presentation of two books.
Film, comics and micro-stories
On Monday, November 2, there will be two events. At 13:00, Hermanas Kawai will give an illustration workshop for girls and boys aged 4 to 7. In the afternoon, at 18:00, «El sonido del proyector: CinematOrigen» (European cinema special) will present a project that combines silent film, electronic music and books, within the parallel programme of the Festival de Cine de Sevilla.
On Friday, November 6, at 19:00, the XII Maratón de Microrrelatos will invite the public to take part in a collective reading. The following day, Saturday 7, at 18:00, Juan Torres López will present «La guerra en Irán. Lo que hay detrás, qué viene después y la paz como imperativo» and will talk with the audience. At 19:00, the gathering «Los 36 de la Madeleine» will focus on the comic that recovers the story of 36 Spanish republicans who fought against Nazism during the liberation of France.
Last day
On Sunday, November 8, the closing day, the storytelling session «Los cuentos de Sira» will offer a session for children at 12:00. In the afternoon, at 20:00, «Número cero. Bob Dylan, retrato de un hombre invisible» will open a gathering to share impressions about the artist and his place in music and literature.
