Gines celebrates its Halloween party on Saturday, October 31, at Paseo Juan de Dios Soto. The event starts at 18:00 and is organised by the Youth department with the collaboration of the Diputación Provincial.
How to take part in the contest
The costume contest is the activity that requires prior registration. There are four categories: group, adult, children's and benjamín, with three prizes in each one, plus the prize for the best makeup.
Anyone who wants to take part must sign up at the celebration venue itself from 17:30. Registration consists of handing in a kilo of non-perishable food.
What else is at the party
The programme includes a tunnel of terror and the Bingo del Miedo, designed so the whole family can take part. There will also be a photocall, a face-painting workshop, a bouncy castle, music and entertainment.
The Asociación Voluntariado SJ and the Grupo Urdimbre collaborate in the organisation, and various companies from the municipality sponsor the event.
Where the food goes
The food collected through the registrations will go to the Asociación Multicultural de Mazagón, which works with the immigrant camps in its area.
