The exhibition can be visited until December 8, according to the note sent by the Ayuntamiento de Morón, which does not specify the year of that date. This information differs from the published one, which placed the closing of the exhibition in June 2027. The note also adds that this is the return of this event, whose last edition was held in 1999.
The heritage of the Church of San Francisco, closed after the partial collapse of part of its ceilings, can now be seen at the Espacio Santa Clara. The exhibition «Pax et Bonum: La huella del franciscanismo en Morón» brings together artistic, historical and ethnographic pieces linked to the town's two convent complexes and can be visited until June 2027, according to the Ayuntamiento de Morón de la Frontera. The display allows visitors to see images that have processed through the streets of the municipality, some from the 16th and 17th centuries, and pieces from the local brotherhood tradition such as the image of the Ángel Confortador, a work by Pineda Calderón. Alongside them appear elements of the daily life of these communities: the Franciscan garden, medicinal plants, the artisanal baking of the Poor Clares and the popular expressions linked to their images. The tour begins with the history of the two convents. The former convent of the Santísimo Corpus Christi, today the Church of San Francisco, was founded in 1541, and construction of the convent of Santa Clara began in 1591. Both preserve churches, cloisters, altarpieces and sculptures of historical value.

Visits for schools

Guided visits are planned for educational centres, in order to bring this legacy closer to students. The installation and the exhibition route are the work of Grupo Ocio Creativo. The inauguration was attended by the municipal Culture officer Agustín Barrera, the parish priest of San Miguel and San Francisco, Ignacio del Rey, and the president of the Consejo de Hermandades, Germán Ramos, together with representatives of brotherhoods and neighbours. During the event, thanks were given for the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Morón, the Consejo de Hermandades, the parishes, the Arzobispado de Sevilla and the brotherhoods that have contributed to the exhibition.
