Registration open for the course on the conservation of brotherhood heritage

The brotherhoods and confraternities of Seville now have the opportunity to train those who manage and safeguard their assets in matters of conservation. The General Council of Brotherhoods and Confraternities of the City of Seville and the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage (IAPH) have opened the registration period for the course "Conservation of heritage in brotherhoods and confraternities". The course will be held from November 16 to 19, 2026 at the headquarters of the Council of Brotherhoods, at calle San Gregorio, número 26. The sessions will be led by specialized technical staff from the IAPH Intervention Center, who will address issues of conservation, restoration and preventive conservation, with professional criteria for responsible management of the corporations' heritage. The training is aimed at people linked to the management and safekeeping of the brotherhoods' heritage assets, with special attention to members of the governing boards and those with responsibilities for their conservation and maintenance. Capacity is limited to 80 participants and places will be assigned in strict order of registration until the maximum number is reached. To register, you must complete the registration form and deliver it in person at the Council's headquarters, at calle San Gregorio, número 26, from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, or send it by email to formacion@hermandades-de-sevilla.org. The registration period is now open. The initiative is part of the collaboration agreement between both institutions to promote specialized training in the conservation of brotherhood heritage, as detailed by the Council of Brotherhoods.
