The XVIII Feria de Productos Locales Sabores de la Provincia opens this weekend with the sales stalls, but without the planned programme of promotional activities. Prodetur, of the Diputación de Sevilla, has suspended those activities as a sign of respect and solidarity with the victims of the railway accident and their families, within the framework of the official national mourning decreed following the tragedy.
The event maintains its opening to the public with the exhibition and sales spaces of the 39 participating companies. The aim is to preserve the commercial activity and the promotion and marketing opportunities that the fair represents for small producers in the municipalities of Seville. During the two days, the venue will operate exclusively as a meeting space between the exhibiting companies and the visiting public, who will be able to learn about and purchase their products directly.
What can be bought
Among the products that can be purchased are olive oils, wines and spirits, craft beers, cheeses and other dairy products, sausages and meat products, olives, honeys, preserves, breads and breadsticks, as well as traditional sweets, mantecados, chocolates and other snacks.
The fair is part of the Muestra de la Provincia 2026, organised by the Diputación de Sevilla, and in it the Sabores de la Provincia de Sevilla brand, promoted by Prodetur, has a prominent role as an instrument for the promotion of and support for the local agri-food sector.
Opening hours and admission
The fair opens its doors on Saturday, October 31, from 11:00 to 20:00, and on Sunday, November 1, from 11:00 to 18:00, in the courtyard of the Diputación de Sevilla. Admission is free.
The XVIII Feria de Productos Locales will have a second edition on November 21 and 22, in which other agri-food companies from the province will participate.
