OFFF Sevilla opens registration for its creativity day
The festival brings together young creatives with international references on Thursday, November 26 at the Fundación Cajasol, with workshops for 60 euros.
The OFFF Sevilla festival, dedicated to creativity, design and digital culture, celebrates the 24 Hour Creative People day on Thursday, November 26 at the Fundación Cajasol. The event serves as a prelude to the festival's two days of conferences at the Real Fábrica de Artillería and brings together students, emerging talent and companies with national and international creators for ten hours in small groups, designed for direct conversation.
Workshops for 60 euros
The Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (UNIA) collaborates with four practical workshops from 16:00 to 20:00. Johanna Jaskowska teaches how to transform a portrait with generative artificial intelligence without it losing its identity; Ramón Soler, from Buenaventura, reviews the typography of Lori Meyers' latest album; composer Sara López explains how an interactive soundtrack is composed, and Alex Lampe, from the London studio Wiedemann Lampe, proposes rethinking Sevilla ahead of the centenary of the 1929 Exposición Iberoamericana. The workshops cost 60 euros and places are booked on the festival's website.
Breakfasts, projects and meetings
The day starts at 10:00 with five creative breakfasts at small tables for around a hundred young people, each with a question from the sector: stay or go, mainstream or underground, manage or create, boomer or Z and the future of video games. Among the participants are painter Ana Barriga, designer Enrique Acosta Naranjo, Sevilla artist Marta Zubieta and composer Sara López.
At midday, Pensar, crear, hacer opens the stage to emerging studios and creatives to present projects in their initial phase. Six will be selected, with 20 minutes each, who will receive a pass for the full festival and a mentoring programme with creators such as Jaskowska, Soler, Patricia Gloum, Alex Gobern and the agency Squembri. In the afternoon, the Cara a cara meetings connect Andalusian professionals with international guests such as BUCK, Studio Dumbar, ECHOLAB, Marshmallow Laser Feast, Wiedemann Lampe and Monotype.
How to take part
All activities except the workshops are free with prior registration until full capacity is reached. The deadline to register for the breakfasts, the project presentations and the Cara a cara meetings runs from October 26 to November 13 and is managed on the festival's website. The day has the support of the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla and Fundación Cajasol, among other entities, and is promoted by the cultural association Agostadero.
