Constantina puts its aliñás olives to a contest, El Ronquillo its migas and Montellano its matanza, while Guadalcanal premieres the early oil of the Sierra Norte. And every weekend, tapas routes in the Aljarafe and Los Alcores and village products at the Diputación.
Seasoned olives, Aljarafe must and the first oil of the Sierra Norte: that is what is eaten in the province of Seville in November. The villages celebrate it with tapas routes, olive and migas competitions, a matanza fair and another of early oil, and the Diputación opens its courtyard in the capital every weekend to the products of the province.
Almost all the events already have a day and time. Those held by custom and not yet announced are at the end.
Three tapas routes open the month. In Bormujos, the Ruta de la Tapa runs from the 5th to the 15th, with prizes of up to 1,500 euros for the bars and six prizes of 200 euros for the public who complete it. In El Viso del Alcor, «Destapa El Viso» takes up two long weekends, from the 5th to the 8th and from the 12th to the 15th, with tapas, breakfasts and afternoon snacks at 4 euros and a prize for the most popular menudo tapa.
Pilas celebrates its XIII Ruta de la Tapa from the 6th to the 8th, with around twenty bars voted through an app; among those who vote, 100 litres of oil and 20 of organic wine are raffled, and there is a free minibus on all three days. The following weekend, from the 13th to the 15th, Peñaflor celebrates its own, the eleventh, with six bars at 3 euros per tapa.
