Alcalá de Guadaíra will have a multi-adventure park next to the Pinares de Oromana. The project is promoted by the Town Council's Tourism Department and has been awarded a subsidy of almost half a million euros from the Diputación de Sevilla's Más Sevilla Turístico 2026 programme, as announced by the municipal tourism delegate, Christopher Rivas.

What the park will include

The space will be built in the area around the Pinar de Oromana playground. It will feature acrobatic courses, zip lines and up to 70 challenges and activities, as detailed by the delegate. The Town Council's stated aim is to expand family leisure options, attract new visitors and offer experiences in contact with nature, making the most of the potential of Oromana and the Ribera del Guadaíra.

Capacity and employment

The project foresees a capacity of approximately 200 simultaneous visitors and estimates the creation of up to 30 direct jobs linked to management, customer service, supervision and maintenance of the facilities.

What the delegate says

Rivas explained that «it is important news for tourism in Alcalá and for continuing to highlight one of our great natural spaces: El Pinar de Oromana». He also noted that «tourism also means creating opportunities, boosting our economy and ensuring that those who visit us enjoy Alcalá for longer».

Who it affects

The infrastructure adds to the leisure offer already existing in this natural space and is intended for family leisure and for those visiting the municipality. The granted funding will be used for the construction of the new active tourism space.
