Tomares celebrates its tapas route with 31 offerings at 22 venues

From November 19 to 29, anyone who wants to eat tapas in Tomares has 22 establishments to choose from. These are eleven days of the 14th Tapas Route "Tomares Gourmet", organized by the Tomares City Council and the Círculo Empresarial de Tomares (CIRE), where 31 tapas can be tasted: 19 signature and 12 traditional. The price is 5 euros for the tapa with a drink (soft drink, beer or tinto de verano) and 4 euros without a drink. Among the signature offerings are a lamb medallion with its jus and mushroom stew, a glazed oxtail ingot or a tuna socarrat taco. Among the traditional ones there is Iberian stew with chickpeas, broad beans with chocos from Huelva, cocido tomareño or shrimp tortillita. The participating venues are Asador La Carrucha, Avareo, Bodega San Sebastián, Cafetería Las Nieves, Casa Alta, Cervecería La de Arriba, Clemencia, Da Teresa Pizza, La Bodeguita de Sapiens, La Cocina de Carmen, La Colorada, La Cuchara del Gorila, La Despensa del Irlandés, La Huevona, La Locura, La Moguela, La Selecta, La Tapería de Kino, la Peña Cultural Flamenca, El Rinconcito Pirata, Tasquero Tomares and Venta Mascareta.

Anyone who goes along the route can stamp their route card at each establishment. With at least five stamps from different venues (up to 22), you enter the draw for five gift packs. The route card can be submitted from November 30 to December 11 at the Servicio Municipal de Atención al Ciudadano of the Tomares City Council (C/ de la Fuente, 10), Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 14 hours and Tuesday or Thursday also from 16:30 to 19 hours. The establishments also compete for three awards: Best Traditional Tapa and Best Signature Tapa, decided by a professional jury, and Most Popular Tapa, chosen by customers with their vote on the route card, this year also with a digital voting option. The route is sponsored by Bodegas Barbadillo, Casino Admiral Sevilla, Cruzcampo and Royal Bliss, and with the collaboration of more than a dozen entities.
