The Ayuntamiento de Lebrija has launched 'Lebrija Educa by Familias', a programme that brings the municipality's educational resources to families and seeks to get fathers and mothers involved in the education of children and young people. The first meeting was on Wednesday, October 28, at the Casa de la Cultura, from 17:00 to 18:30, with the presentation of the campaign and sessions on the prevention and control of school absenteeism and risk prevention.
Eight meetings until May
The series is part of the Municipal Education Plan 'Lebrija Educa' for the 2026/2027 academic year and includes eight meetings between October 2026 and May 2027. Families will visit different municipal spaces and attend information sessions to learn first-hand about the education, culture, prevention and well-being services and programmes for children and adolescents.
The next meeting will be on November 18 at the Casa del Flamenco, dedicated to the Centro del Flamenco de Lebrija and the Consejo Local de la Infancia y la Adolescencia (CLIA).
Firefighters, heritage and health
The calendar also includes meetings at the Parque de Bomberos, the Casa de la Cultura, the Centro Nebrija, the Convento de las Monjas, the parish of Nuestra Señora de la Oliva, the Casa de la Juventud and the Espacio Recicla. The sessions will cover fire prevention, protection and self-protection, road safety education, health, local heritage, healthy eating and animal welfare.
According to the Ayuntamiento, this initiative extends the reach of 'Lebrija Educa' to the family environment and strengthens collaboration between municipal resources and families as part of the educational community.
How to take part
Families interested in attending the meetings can check the programme through the Ayuntamiento de Lebrija, which promotes the series through the Delegación de Infancia, Educación y Formación.
