The CIRKTOBER festival schedules fourteen performances of clown, juggling, acrobatic dance and gestural humour in thirteen municipalities of the province of Sevilla between Thursday, October 15 and Sunday, October 18. Most of the performances are free.

Contemporary circus returns to the squares and cultural spaces of the province of Sevilla. From Thursday, October 15 to Sunday, October 18, the CIRKTOBER festival programmes fourteen performances in thirteen municipalities: Cantillana, San Nicolás del Puerto, Alcalá del Río, Castilleja del Campo, Pilas, Carrión de los Céspedes, Lora del Río, Guadalcanal, Palomares del Río, Aznalcázar, Valencina de la Concepción, Villamanrique de la Condesa and Villanueva del Ariscal.
Four days of circus
The programme starts on Thursday, October 15 at Plaza Marcelino Camacho in Cantillana, with «Sentadita me quedé», by Eva Escudier, at 19:00. On Friday, October 16, Federico Menini presents «Llar» at the Patio del Colegio Público San Diego in San Nicolás del Puerto at 13:00, and La Belle École brings «Caricatos» to the Centro Cultural María Moliné in Castilleja del Campo at 20:00. That same day, at 20:00, there is a second performance of «Sentadita me quedé» at Plaza de Belén in Pilas.
On Saturday, October 17, La Churry performs with «Wooooow» at Plaza de la Constitución in Carrión de los Céspedes at 12:30. At the same time, Federico Menini performs «Llar» at Plaza de España in Lora del Río, and La Belle École brings «Caricatos» to the Teatro Municipal Carlos Álvarez Nóvoa in Palomares del Río at 20:00.
On Sunday, October 18, La Churry returns with «Wooooow» at the Caseta del Recinto Ferial in Aznalcázar at 12:00. In the afternoon, Federico Menini presents «Llar» at the Carpa Municipal in Valencina de la Concepción at 18:00, and La Belle École closes with «Caricatos» at Plaza del Santísimo Sacramento in Villanueva del Ariscal at 18:30.
Workshops for schoolchildren
La Tregua Cultura organises circus workshops aimed at the school population. They are held at Parque del Hermanamiento in Alcalá del Río on Friday, October 16 at 17:30, at Plaza de España in San Nicolás del Puerto on Saturday, October 17 at 11:00 and at Paseo del Palacio in Guadalcanal on Saturday, October 17 at 17:30.
Tickets and access
The organisers state that most of the events are free and that indoor performances have reduced prices. The festival continues until October 25 across forty locations in the province.
