There are words that are only understood when they are set in motion.
Caniche con Vozal is not a book for learning to dance, it is a manual of instructions for listening to yourself in another way. Between exercises, illustrations by Adela por dios, conversations, fragments from the diary that Carlota Berzal's mother wrote in 1992 and small instructions for playing with the cuerpa, the book invites you to lose your shame, make noise, laugh at yourself and discover other ways of moving.
No previous experience is needed. Just the desire to try, make mistakes, repeat and start again.
The presentation will be led by the author Mercedes Duque Espiau and will be the first presentation of the book in Sevilla after its presentation in Nueva York, where Carlota Berzal and Adela Angulo will take part in the Feria Internacional del Libro de Nueva York (FILNYC) and will hold a workshop.
After the presentation there will be a book signing at the casetilla of the bookstore La Inevitable, where copies may be purchased.
