The flamenco singer Nano de Jerez performs on Friday, November 6 at 20:30 at the Auditorio Jesús de la Rosa Luque in Tocina, as part of the Autumn Cultural Programme organised by the Council's Department of Culture. The show is aimed at an adult audience. To enter the venue you must present the booking confirmation, on your phone or printed. Seats are not numbered. Cayetano Fernández González, known artistically as Nano de Jerez, was born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1948 and is the son of the singer Tío Juane. He began his career in the shows «Jueves Flamencos», directed by the guitarist Manuel Morao, and later performed at Seville tablaos such as Los Gallos and La Trocha. In 1977 he recorded his first album, with Félix de Utrera on guitar, and toured Japan. Throughout his career he has combined recitals and performances at peñas and flamenco festivals with singing for dance, one of his specialities. His singing stands out above all in bulerías, although he also excels in other styles such as soleá and siguiriya. The performance is part of the Tocina Council's agreement with the Diputación de Sevilla through the 107 Programa Cultural, as detailed by the Consistorio. To buy tickets you must use the Tocina Council app from Tuesday, November 3 at 11:00, with a maximum of three reservations per DNI, and bring the confirmation on the day of the show.
