The esplanade of the ermita de la Fuensanta de Corcoya, in Badolatosa, hosts the performance of 'The pardon, path to forgiveness', a play that recreates the historical episode of the pardon that King Ferdinand VII granted to José María El Tempranillo and the members of his gang.

The theatrical proposal is intergenerational and features the participation of around thirty actors and actresses. The text and direction are by Toñi Jiménez Rodríguez. The performance, developed from documentary sources, gives prominence to characters such as José María, el Lero and el Venitas, and combines history, theatrical performance and neighbourhood participation.

The Diputación de Sevilla, through its Área de Cultura, collaborates in the holding of this activity.
